So I have decided to switch to wordpress because it is easier for me to use. I don’t know what happened to our old one but I don’t have the time or energy to figure it out so I just moved.
We are home now and our lives are starting to get back into the swing of things. N is back at work and G and I are getting used to our new home.
Maine was wonderful as usual with all the usual goings on. The Skippinator made his much awaited appearance at the rock skipping contest, we marched on the 4th of July, and many a lobster was eaten. This summer was a little different for me because my days were filled with watching G at home while Nat did his jobs for his Aunt and Uncle. But, it got a little more interesting because Brynne and Marin came up for two whole weeks. It was wonderful to have the girls get to know each other. They even took their first steps within a few days of each other up there (Marin first). It was nice to have Brynne around for a little extra help because this pregnancy has brought many more headaches that are much worse than they were with my first pregnancy.
Since we live around an academic schedule I tend to think of this as the beginning of a new year rather than January. It should be an interesting one with N taking on new responsibilities at work, starting his Masters, and G no longer being a blob that sits there while I go about my day. I am really tired but I am looking forward to these new challenges, at least until January when baby #2 comes along and we are all thrown upside down again.
